Geoff WelchGeoff Welch is the President and co-owner of Fairbanks, Alaska’s award winning Date-Line Digital Printing, where his “crisis of gratitude” was the genesis of their remarkable Thanks Fairbanks project. Each year they share thousands of free thank you cards – more than 25,000 to date – with area residents as a way of spreading a culture of gratitude in their community.

Date-Line’s lobby, dubbed the Fortress of Gratitude, is littered with nearly 1,000 messages of gratitude and they produced a coloring book to inspire conversations about gratitude between children and the people who are teaching them how to make meaningful contributions with their lives.

His irreverent perspectives on leadership, gratitude, service, and being a human at work have led to many opportunities to speak locally and nationally in classrooms, at conferences, and even at TEDxAnchorage. Geoff serves as member of the Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors and is currently facilitating their 2015/16 Leadership Fairbanks class. He also writes Date-Line’s Powered By Humanity blog, a project inspired by his free ebook of the same name.

In 2015 Geoff teamed with Angie Tallant and Marisa Sharrah to organize 100+ Professionals Who Care, a quarterly meeting of professionals who pool money to support area non-profit organizations.

Always up for a challenge, Geoff and his wife Nicole have chosen to raise a small human named Maddy without the aid of any formal training.
